Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop culture. In the year 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was made available by La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca, which was one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. He collaborated together with Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and in the year following, he came out with his second album, the chart-topping Dopamina. In 2021, he performed in a duo with TINI for her viral stream song Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was born into a musical family, his younger brother and his mother are each musicians. According to him, musicality was a fundamental element of his existence. When he was a kid was playing the ukulele as well as piano. The first choice for his career was to be a vet, but his brother Julian encouraged him to learn singing with the help of a Cuban teacher. The end result was that he discovered his own ability to sing and also transformed his career path.
